Gluten free recipe for:

Karri’s Cookies

These chocolate drop cookies are easy to make and a definite crowd pleaser!

Ingredients: 2 large egg whites
1/8 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup sugar
6 oz chocolate chips

1.  Lightly grease 2 baking sheets.
2.  Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
3.  Add vanilla and sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
4.  Melt chocolate chips (the microwave works well for 2-3 minutes at half power, checking every minute).
5.  Fold cooled, melted chocolate chips into egg white mixture with spatula until color is uniform.
6.  Spoon cookies onto baking sheet.
7.  Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.  Tops will be cracked.  Cool completely on cookie sheet before removing to wire rack.
